Some of my Halloween verses!
I love Halloween! I used to be very good about sending off Halloween cards, though I’ve become so busy I’ve switched to just posting the equivalent on my blog. Most of them were short poems composed quickly, shared with vintage Halloween cards that I had been given or had found on the web.
Here’s a few of my past cards:
Lulu has the biggest Teeth,
From above and underneath—
They gleam like Stars in midnight black,
And once they’re out, they don’t go back
Until some morsel slips between,
Sundered on the bright points keen.
Keep your Puppy in the house;
Don’t let the Cat go chase that mouse;
And Baby’s plump and luscious limbs
Arouse this lass’s bloody whims.
Whispered stories do come true—
Lulu lives next door to you.
Where are you, Goblin Child,
Hiding in your human guise?
